CLUB ACTIVITIES

DVISORY BUREAU FOR HIGHER STUDIES (ABHS) :

It provides the guidelines for the students to pursue their higher studies abroad. The students are trained to appear the online examination relevant to their field of studies and motivated to score the required grade to get their admission in foreign universities. The students are encouraged and guided for the selection of universities for this higher studies.

MADRAS MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (MMA) :

Madras Management Association (MMA) is one of the largest local Management Associations in India. It was established in 1956 with the objective to improve Management Education and Training in the country

CONFEDERATION OF INDIAN INDUSTRY (CII) :

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry in India, partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative processes. We also have a forum for CII Yiand CII EEF

FEDERATION OF INDIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (FICCI) :

A non-government, not-for-profit organisation, FICCI is the voice of India’s business and industry. FICCI draws its membership from the corporate sector, both private and public, including SMEs and MNCs; FICCI enjoys an indirect membership of over 2,50,000 companies from various regional chambers of commerce. ICT ACADEMY ICTACT is a pioneering venture under the public – private – partnership (PPP) model that endeavors to train the higher education teachers and students in the areas of Information & Communication Technology, thereby Making the students industry ready.

BUSINESS LINE CLUB (BLC) :

This is a grand alliance involving the newspaper, corporate and the student community with a view to institutionalize the industry – institute interface.

MINT CLUB (MC) :

The ‘Mint Club’ is intended to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas between students of management and people from the world of business and finance. The association with MINT News Paper would prove extremely useful for the students of the college, particularly for those doing the MBA programme.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPEMENT CELL (EDC) :

Entrepreneurs are the life blood of our world economy and Mahalakshmi Engineering College doms encourages its students to explore entrepreneurship as a career choice. For this our department invites various delegates to provide training programmes to develop entrepreneurial skills amongst existing and aspiring entrepreneurs of our college. Every year students who are willing to takeup a career as entrepreneur are motivated through various EDPs conducted in association with MSME – Di, ITCOT, TANSTIA – FNF Services, EDI, NEN, BYST, EPIC.

CENTRE FOR INDUSTRY INSTUITION COLLABORATION (CIIC) :

This forum is created to enrich relationship between industry and institute for the development of the student’s career.

CENTRE FOR INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS (CIA) :

Mahalakshmi Engineering College DOMS is actively involved in building a stronger international affair in curriculum and career development of students by bringing dignitaries internationally to our college to share their global knowledge to our students The CIA has created an upbeat development at our college by opening up possibilities for students and faculty, and creating successful careers.
