At Mahalakshmi Tech Campus, much of our focus in ensuring the overall well-being of our students is achieved through the “Guidance Partnership Program.” It makes sure that students getting an effective and efficient one-on- one mentoring for their course work all the time they need it.
Program Overview:
Dedicated Mentorship
As a part of admission each student is assigned a faculty member that serves as a guide throughout the student’s time at the university. Our mentors are willing to stick with the 15 students in their group until they complete their studies so that the students will have a stable mentorship.
Holistic Support
Mentors may give students sound information concerning curriculum, courses, majors, and personal difficulties. Of critical importance as they guide and support students in their movement within classrooms, and dealing with academic challenges and personal problems and also as friends who model effective student behaviour.
Ongoing Engagement
Mentors meet their mentees on a weekly basis and during important periods such as the period leading to and following examinations, competitions and other activities in the institution. This constant check-in strengthens a positive communication, and guarantees the students are prepared and encouraged.
Personalized Tracking
Every student and their activities, including their interactions, are documented in a Data Book to help the student’s specific needs be addressed by the mentors at this center. Based on this system, academic performance and personal development can be followed closely.
Proactive Communication
Some of the things that mentors do involve going by the concern for students and getting in touch with the parents or the guardians in cases where such influence may be especially where there are irregularities or changes in behaviour, or interpersonal difficulties.
Mentorship Beyond Role Models
Although the concept of role-modeling is similar to that of using an authority figure, mentors cannot simply set examples. They always participate in discussions with students, both in order to give comments, encouragement, or even solve the problems which can be observed in the process of studying, which gives the mentoring process a really operative and useful character.
Our Guidance Partnership Program at Mahalakshmi Tech Campus is to paint success in not only Academics but also in the overall Personality Development of students under the supervision of our aspirationated core faculty.
