The Research and Development Cell of Mahalakshmi Tech Campus successfully organized a Research Paper Writing Workshop for faculty members and student project leaders to strengthen their research and academic writing skills. The session was conducted by Dr. Franklin J, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, who provided practical insights into the complete research paper writing process.
The workshop covered essential topics, including selecting a research problem, identifying research gaps, literature review, reference management, writing effective titles and abstracts, developing a sound methodology, presenting results and conclusions, choosing suitable journals and conferences, publication ethics, avoiding plagiarism, and the effective use of AI tools in research writing. Participants also gained an understanding of common reasons for paper rejection and strategies to improve publication success.
The interactive session equipped attendees with valuable knowledge and practical techniques, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to fostering a strong research culture, academic excellence, and innovation among faculty members and students.
