Mahalakshmi Tech Campus successfully hosted a Yoga Awareness and Demonstration Session on Thursday, 12 February 2026, in collaboration with Narchinthanai Vattam (NCV), as part of its commitment to promoting holistic well-being and healthy living among students and staff.
The session was led by Mr. R. Balan, President – NCV, whose inspiring and insightful address beautifully conveyed the true essence of yoga. He highlighted its relevance in students’ lives and emphasized the long-term physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits of adopting yoga as a daily practice. His words created deep awareness and a meaningful understanding of yoga as a way of life rather than just a physical activity.
The program featured a graceful and impactful demonstration of yogic practices by Mrs. Hema Unnikannan Madam and Mrs. M. Bhavani Madam, who guided students through important asanas with clarity, patience, and compassion. Their practical guidance made the session highly engaging, accessible, and transformative for participants.
The event left a lasting impression on both students and staff, fostering a deeper appreciation for discipline, balance, inner strength, mindfulness, and well-being. The session helped participants experience yoga as a holistic practice that nurtures the body, mind, and soul.
Mahalakshmi Tech Campus sincerely values this enriching association with Narchinthanai Vattam (NCV) and looks forward to many more such collaborative initiatives that support the holistic development of students and the creation of a healthy academic environment.
