The GreenVerse Hackathon 2026 was successfully inaugurated at Mahalakshmi Tech Campus, creating a vibrant platform for young innovators to explore technology-driven solutions for sustainability challenges.
We were deeply honoured to have Mr. Ramesh Subramanian, CEO of Ciar Systems, as the Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony. His presence brought valuable industry insights and great inspiration to the students.
The event took place in the esteemed presence of Mr. Ghuhan Ravi, Vice Chairman of Mahalakshmi Tech Campus, whose progressive vision continues to drive innovation-oriented learning at the institution. The inauguration was also graced by Mr. Srinivas – Dean, Strategic Planning, and Mr. Suman, Principal, Mahalakshmi Vidya Mandir, adding further strength to the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ushaa Eswaran, Principal of Mahalakshmi Tech Campus, spoke about the institution’s commitment to building future-ready engineers and entrepreneurs. She highlighted how MTC is creating an ecosystem that encourages innovation, experiential learning, and industry-relevant skill development, enabling students to transform ideas into impactful solutions.
Delivering an inspiring address, Chief Guest Mr. Ramesh Subramanian encouraged students to embrace creative thinking, bold innovation, and problem-solving. He emphasized that the world today needs young minds who can think differently, innovate fearlessly, and design solutions for global challenges.
The Hackathon witnessed an enthusiastic response with more than 200 students from various institutions participating, turning the campus into a hub of creativity, collaboration, and technological exploration.
This initiative reflects the visionary leadership of Mr. R. Ravi, Chairman of Mahalakshmi Group of Institutions, whose mission is to inspire students to think beyond conventional boundaries and emerge as innovators and entrepreneurs.
