Mahalakshmi Tech Campus conducted a LinkedIn Profile Creation Event on 24 August 2026 for its students, with the objective of helping them establish a strong and professional digital presence.
The session was led by Ms. Celsia, Professor, Department of English, who guided students through the process of creating and developing an effective LinkedIn profile. The session focused on presenting their academic qualifications, technical skills, certifications, achievements, projects and career interests in a professional manner.
Students were also introduced to the importance of maintaining a credible professional identity, building their network, showcasing their skills and using LinkedIn effectively for career opportunities, internships, placements and professional networking.
The hands-on nature of the event enabled students to work on their profiles and understand how a well-structured LinkedIn presence can support their career journey.
The event was successfully conducted with active participation from the students and contributed towards strengthening their digital professionalism, communication skills and career readiness.
