An online quiz on Distributed Computing was conducted today for the students of III CSE and III AI&DS as part of the academic enrichment activities.
The quiz was organised by Mrs. Persis with the objective of assessing students’ understanding of key concepts in Distributed Computing through an engaging and collaborative learning activity.
A unique feature of the activity was that the students participated in pairs. This encouraged them to discuss concepts, exchange ideas, analyse the questions and arrive at answers collectively rather than working individually.
The activity provided an effective platform to:
Assess students’ subject knowledge and conceptual understanding
Encourage peer learning and collaborative problem-solving
Develop teamwork and communication skills
Promote active participation in the learning process
Create a spirit of healthy academic competition
Make subject learning more interactive and engaging
The collaborative nature of the quiz enabled students to learn from one another while applying their knowledge of Distributed Computing to answer the questions.
Outcome
The activity successfully combined assessment with collaborative learning, providing students with an opportunity to strengthen their conceptual understanding while developing essential teamwork and communication skills.
