Women’s Day at Mahalakshmi Tech Campus

Women’s Day at Mahalakshmi Tech Campus – A Celebration Beyond a Ceremony
International Women’s Day was celebrated in a truly grand and meaningful manner at Mahalakshmi Tech Campus, transforming the campus into a vibrant space of reflection, celebration, and inspiration.

The occasion was graciously presided over by Mrs. Sridevi Ravi, Chairperson, Mahalakshmi Group of Institutions, who attended as the Chief Guest. The program was further honored by the presence of Mrs. J. Suman, Principal, Mahalakshmi Vidya Mandir, as the Guest of Honour. The celebration was also graced by Mr. Guhan R., Vice Chairman, Mahalakshmi Tech Campus, and Dr. Sreenivas Gumparthi, Dean, Mahalakshmi Tech Campus, whose presence added warmth and encouragement to the gathering.
Under the visionary guidance of Prof. Dr. Ushaa Eswaran, Principal, Mahalakshmi Tech Campus, the students transformed the celebration into something far deeper than a conventional event. What unfolded was not merely a program—but an expression of collective thought, creativity, and awareness.

The Women Empowerment Cell, along with the students, curated a series of engaging and imaginative activities that filled the campus with energy and enthusiasm. The celebration featured interactive games that brought together both staff and students, dissolving formal boundaries and creating an atmosphere of joyful participation.
One of the most touching moments of the event was a thoughtfully created documentary, presenting the voices and perspectives of students and staff on womanhood, aspirations, and societal change. The film became a mirror reflecting how the younger generation perceives equality, empathy, and responsibility in today’s world.

The program was filled with delightful surprises, laughter, reflection, and shared experiences. More importantly, it showcased the emotional intelligence and social awareness of the students. The celebration demonstrated that the students of Mahalakshmi Tech Campus are not only developing strong technical competence but are also nurturing the qualities that define responsible global citizens—empathy, respect, gender sensitivity, and inclusive thinking.
By the end of the celebration, the event had achieved something rare: it did not merely celebrate women; it celebrated understanding.

The success of this remarkable program stands as a testimony to the commitment of the Women Empowerment Cell and the vibrant student community of Mahalakshmi Tech Campus, who continue to prove that education is not only about knowledge, but also about shaping humane and responsible individuals for the world.
