About the Workshop:
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Mahalakshmi Tech Campus organized a workshop on “Effective Sales and Marketing Strategies for Entrepreneurs and Start-ups” to equip students with practical knowledge of marketing and business development. The session focused on how startups can identify their target market, build strong brand identity, and implement innovative sales techniques.

The workshop emphasized real-world applications of marketing strategies and encouraged students to think from a customer-centric perspective.

Hands-On Activity Conducted:

As part of experiential learning, students were divided into five batches. Each batch was assigned to conceptualize a product and develop a complete marketing strategy.

Each group:
* Designed a unique product concept
* Created a brand name and logo
* Identified target customers
* Developed marketing and promotional strategies
* Prepared a sales pitch presentation

The activity enabled students to understand the integration of creativity, branding, and strategic marketing. Each batch presented their ideas, followed by feedback and a Q&A interaction session.

Conclusion:
The Workshop on Effective Sales and Marketing Strategies successfully bridged theoretical knowledge and practical implementation. By engaging students in product design, branding, and sales pitching, the program strengthened entrepreneurial competencies and supported the institution’s innovation ecosystem.
