SC/ST Committee

Mandate and Objectives:

The SC/ST Committee at Mahalakshmi Tech Campus has been established to address and resolve issues and concerns related to SC/ST students and faculty members within the institution.

Objectives:

• Promote Equal Opportunities: Ensure that students from the SC/ST community receive equal opportunities and are able to integrate seamlessly with the broader student body.
• Provide a Platform: Offer a forum for SC/ST students to express their academic and non-academic concerns and challenges.
• Implement Reservation Policies: Monitor and ensure the effective implementation of reservation policies within the campus.

Responsibilities:

• Engage and Resolve: Regularly engage with SC/ST students and faculty to understand their issues and concerns, taking necessary actions or providing advice and assistance to address and resolve these matters.
• Awareness Creation: Inform SC/ST students about various government and non-government scholarship schemes available to them.
• Counseling and Support: Offer counseling and support to SC/ST students to help overcome feelings of inferiority, improve interpersonal interactions, and assist with personal grooming.

Through these objectives and responsibilities, the SC/ST Committee at Mahalakshmi Tech Campus aims to foster an inclusive and supportive environment, enabling SC/ST students and faculty members to thrive and succeed without barriers or discrimination.
