At Mahalakshmi Tech Campus waste management consists of segregation of wastes into the recycling bin, compost bin, and ordinary bin. All our paper, plastics, glasses and metals are recycled while other organic waste products are decomposed for use as campus manure. The campus promotes an unpopular route of minimizing wastage such as using less of paper and coming up with the notion of re usability of items and the right way to dispose of them is taught. They are collected and removed in a systematic way to avoid accumulation, and we take considerable measures to follow necessary environmental conservation steps and measures while implementing them, and are also in touch with changing over time to better the environmental conservation measures implemented. We also liaise with local waste authorities to support our efforts at making the world a greener place to be.
